This product can be used after reading the short story “The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson to check student’s understanding of vocabulary words found in the short story. This two-page quiz includes multiple-choice questions dealing with synonyms, antonyms, and definitions, as well as fill in the blank questions. The entire quiz is worth fifteen points in total. I recommend giving students ten minutes to complete the entire quiz.
